Uninspired

Thursday, was my travel day. I arose at 3 AM. I’d been packed since Friday. By 3:45 we were on the road to the airport. Hubby drowsily kissed me good-bye and drove off into the sunrise. I boarded the plane without incident.

What was this?!? First Class!!! No wonder my ticket was so expensive! What? Why yes, attractive airline staff-person, I would enjoy a pre-flight beverage – no cream or sugar thanks. Ahhh….I think I’ll read the Better Homes and Gardens I packed for entertainment. What? Oh, hello attractive airline staff-person, why yes, a clean hot lemon scented towel would be just what I need. Thanks! Hmmm…what is that?…breakfast? Certainly, I’d enjoy eating a muffin, fresh fruit, kielbasa, scrambled eggs and orange juice. Hmmm…let me stretch out my feet here. I think I’ll read Oprah’s magazine now.

The plane landed in Atlanta where I had to switch flights. I had a 2 and 1/2 hour layover, so I decided to find a place to have a beverage and salad and rest my mind a bit. I thought I’d turn on my cell phone and adjust the time. Wait, I had a message! Oh, well, certainly I’m up for a job interview when I get back. I’ll call this person back and arrange that right now. I smiled to myself – don’t I just rock?!?!

Back on the plane and headed for Orlando, I decided to kick up my feet, read Yoga Journal magazine, and rest – only an hour until I’m there.
