Software Specifications Software specifications are the core component of any project. They are used by engineering, QA, marketing, artists, writers, and technical support. A spec needs to be clear and concise while imparting as much technical information as possible. I have co-written and reviewed specs for a variety of products including children’s CD-ROM games, educational software, and desktop security products.
